WSSA 2010 AMERICAN INDIAN STUDIES SECTION PROGRAM, April 14-17, 2010
The American Indian Studies Section of the Western Social Science Association, at its 52nd meeting, expects to again have a full program of panels at the association’s meeting at the Grand Sierra Resort, in Reno, NV, April 14-17, 2010. Paper/panel proposals for the American Indian Studies Section can either be submitted on line by going to: http://wssa.asu.edu/, or by sending them (preferably by E-mail) to AIS section coordinator Tom Hoffman <dr_tomh@swbell.net. Deadline for proposals, including abstracts, will be no earlier than November 1. Information, which will eventually include the preliminary program, can be accessed on line at: http://wssa.asu.edu.

Eighth Native American Symposium and Film Festival: Images, Imaginations, and Beyond is November 4-6, 2009 at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Oklahoma. The symposium theme is Images, Imaginations, and Beyond, but papers, presentations, panel sessions, and creative productions addressing all aspects of Native American studies are welcome. All papers presented at the symposium will be eligible for inclusion in the volume of published proceedings, which will also be posted on the website which has conference information at: www.se.edu/nas/.
